Start researching rhinoplasty and the first thing you meet is a list of shape names.

Straight, straight with a lifted tip, semi-upturned, upturned. The descriptions sound clear enough: a straight nose has a straight bridge, an upturned nose has a lifted tip, and semi-upturned sits somewhere in between.

But every photo shows a different person at a different angle, so it's hard to picture how any of them would look on your own face.

So we applied all four shapes to a single photo.
